The day hike Program:

Leave your Nairobi Hotel early in the morning and drive along the Great Rift Valley to Mount Longonot Main Gate. It is a one-hour drive to the main gate, where you start the hike at 2000mts. The crater ream is at 3000 meters; however, the hiking is steep and can be very demanding and thus need good preparation.

ITINERARY:

6 am Leave Nairobi and Drive to Mount Longonot Main Gate
8 am After finalizing the government formalities, start the hike
11 am Arrive at the crater, walk around the rim, and enjoy the scenery.
1 pm Arrive back at the main gate and drive back to Nairobi.
